Our clients wanted to update their two old Gas fires with a sleek, modern electric option.
The old decorative flame effect fires were outdated and totally inefficient with most of the heat going directing up the chimney, and on cold windy days losing heat from the house from updrafts.
Bringing the fireplaces right up to date we fitted the Evonic E-lectra C600 black edition which has real woodland log fuel bed making a stunning visual masterpiece all fully remote control from the comfort of the armchair!

Unsafe Chimney
Location: Shirley, Southampton
This project started as a 'simple refurbishment' of the chimney stack and install new flexible liner for a Portway Luxima Deluxe wood burner.
Due to access issues our specialist sub contractor provided high level scaffolding, when our team arrived to commence works in became immediately apparent the chimney stack had been poorly repaired on previous occasions and now was structurally unsafe.
Our operatives took video and photographs to show the clients on the ground and explain the seriousness of the structural condition, from there we quickly worked out a viable and cost effective solution to replace the old chimney with a new twin wall flue and weatherproof the roof within the allocated time frame.

Our clients knew the exact look they wanted when they visited our Totton showroom, after reviewing several models of electric fire they choose the British Fires New Forest 1600 Black edition with deluxe logs and the anti reflective glass.
Following our clients design our team created the bespoke media wall fabricated all on-site, to give that professional end finish the whole unit was spray painted by the very talented Sian Francis - Painting & Decorating
